We have been providing a helpdesk and IT maintenance service to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) since 1st March 2002. This service enables the NDDC to focus on its core competence whilst our engineers ensure that the current ICT investment is optimally managed with a high quality of service delivery.

Information and Communications Technology Consultancy Services
We have offered ICT Consultancy services to a variety of organisations including the NDDC, SecTrust Ltd (a leading stock brokerage firm in Lagos) and Updata Plc of London. The commitment with the NDDC started in April 2002 and is a design, build and operate contract which gives FutureShock full responsibility for implementing and managing ICT infrastructure for about 800 staff distributed across 10 locations in the Niger Delta. Business Process Engineering

We have worked with the NDDC to re-engineer critical business processes within the organisation. In May 2004, the NDDC awarded a contract to FutureShock for the deployment an ERP solution for financial control and management, warehouse management and project management. The technical delivery was completed within 14 weeks. The project is currently in the change management phase which will involve the migration of legacy data into the system and training of NDDC staff.

Industry vertical solutions
FutureShock has developed several solutions for the financial services industry, targeting in particular, the stock brokers. Our products include Asset Manager, Back Office, Research Assistant and Trader. These products are currently being used by SecTrust Ltd, one of top five stock brokers in the Nigerian market. We are currently embarking on a major drive to deploy these solutions to other stock brokers in Nigeria.
